I Am The Life Of The Party, 2023

This was my first major foray into collage, done in my freshman year. It was meant to be just a representation of my personality and what I was passionate about at the time. A lot of it is still true, even though as a teenager, I change constantly as I inch closer to adulthood. A lot of the scraps I included in this piece were also just things I found cool at the time!
I had a ton of fun gathering magazine scraps for it, and it's definitely funny to look back on how resourceful I was trying to be, making sure there would be enough material left for other people. These days, I'm a bit of a hog, and end up taking entire magazines from the art room. There aren't too many others who are as dedicated collagists in my school, though, as far as I can tell. :)
